About Us

This site is our contribution towards encouraging aviation activity in Australia. Aeroclub.com.au was established in 2002 and is owned and operated by Aeroclub Pty Ltd.

We are aviators, private pilots, aero club members, aircraft homebuilders, aircraft owners, airfield owners, regular air tourers, software writers, business operators and dreamers. Many of the concepts used on this site have been developed by talking with others at the pub, at the aero club or while away on flying trips.

The site provides access to aviation information for operators and enthusiasts. We provide basic search facilities at no charge. Site Membership is FREE and is required to access certain components of the site that are not considered public domain.

Basic search facilities include the following search tabs:

Organisations SEARCH - Find aviation operators or businesses by name, state, airport or location.

Airfields SEARCH - Find airfields by name, operator, Ycode, WAC chart, state, or by location.

Aircraft SEARCH - Find aircraft on the Australian civil register by rego, make, type, model, owner and other designators.

Trip PLANNER - Coming Soon! - Plan a flying trip to Australian airfields the easy way. Calculate distances, find out about airport facilities, accommodation and local attractions.
