About Us

This site is our contribution towards encouraging aviation activity in Australia. Aeroclub.com.au was established in 2002 and is owned and operated by Aeroclub Pty Ltd.

We are aviators, private pilots, aero club members, aircraft homebuilders, aircraft owners, airfield owners, regular air tourers, software writers, business operators and dreamers. Many of the concepts used on this site have been developed by talking with others at the pub, at the aero club or while away on flying trips.

The site provides access to aviation information for operators and enthusiasts. We provide basic search facilities at no charge. Site Membership is FREE and is required to access certain components of the site that are not considered public domain.

Updated! Events SEARCH - Find aviation events, fly-ins, airshows and safety seminars by date, state, airport or location. Aviators can now see the distance (in Nautical Miles) from the events relative to their postcode. Events are now tagged according to the type of activity.

Updated! Directory SEARCH - Find aviation operators or businesses by name, state, airport or. Aviators can now see the distance (in Nautical Miles) from the business location. Finding a resource is now easier with businesses divided into functional categories (eg: flying training) and divided into tags! (eg: theory, flying schools...)

Airfields SEARCH - Find airfields by name or YCODE in trip planner

Aircraft SEARCH - No longer up to date. Will be released at some time in the future.

Fuel FINDER - Find aviation fuel by fuel type, supplier, state, airport or by location. Trhough trip planner

Trip PLANNER - Plan a flying trip to Australian airfields the easy way. Calculate distances, find out about airport facilities, accommodation and local attractions.
